Takahiro Watanabe, spearheader of the Yuzuki Yukari Racing Project, has updated the project’s “READY FOR?” crowdfunding page with some exciting news about donor reward goods!
Before getting to that, however, he announced some slightly somber news. It turns out that the cost of entering a Super Taikyu race next season will be increasing by quite a substantial amount due to new regulations that are being put in place. Therefore, contrary to what was previously reported, even if the crowdfunding effort reaches its ￥6,000,000 JPY goal, it still won’t be enough to fully cover the costs of entering the Yuzuki Yukari itasha into next season’s races. This means that the project will need to rely on sufficient sales of the Yuzuki Yukari Racing Version merchandise in order to fund the itasha’s participation in the next racing season after all.
But now comes the good news. In order to sweeten the deal for backers of the crowdfunding campaign, Watanabe has announced that he has added a Yuzuki Yukari Racing crystal plaque to every reward tier that is ￥150,000 JPY or greater! These plaques will bear the official Yuzuki Yukari Racing image, as well as the donor’s assigned serial number (which is assigned in no particular order). Think of it as a big thank-you gift to the project’s biggest supporters. And if you have already chosen a reward for at least ￥150,000 JPY, don’t fret; you will be receiving the plaque in addition to your chosen goods at no extra cost!
For those who would like the plaque, but can’t quite afford to donate ￥150,000 JPY, the crowdfunding campaign now offers it up as a brand-new ￥100,000 JPY reward choice!
To summarize, the reward choices now go as so (note that ￥1 JPY ≈ $0.01 USD):
For ￥3,000 JPY, you can receive:
・A plastic Yuzuki Yukari Racing supporter’s ID card with your own personal serial number
