Fan Submission Guidelines

Would you like your work featured on VNN’s social media? If so, you’ve come to the right place! We’re working to expand our content by asking fans to submit their own works to be featured. However, there are a few rules that need to be followed.

General Guidelines

We accept all types of content! Just to name the big categories: Fan art, original songs, covers, cosplay, figure photography, MMD, and anything else you can think of!

  1. Do not submit any R-18 or R-18G content.

  2. Please link us to an upload of your submission so that we can properly credit you and/or directly share from your page.

  3. All videos/songs will be directly linked to and can be uploaded to any reputable video sharing website or SoundCloud. We prefer that you not upload to social media websites like Facebook, however, as it often kills the quality.

  4. When sharing on VNN’s Facebook: Images will be shared from Facebook if you’ve uploaded the image on your Facebook page. Otherwise, we will upload the image and provide a link to your official upload when posting to Facebook.

  5. When sharing on the website: On VNN’s website, we will embed your official upload whenever possible.

  6. Feel free to share work of any vocal synthesizer or VNN affiliated characters (Vivi, En, and Zing)! You do not have to restrict yourself to VOCALOIDs.

  7. VNN has the right to reject submissions. Submitting to VNN does not guarantee that your work will be featured.

  8. VNN has the right to change these rules at any time.

  1. All art submitted must be 100% your own. You can not trace, edit, or heavily reference any digital or traditional art that is not your own and submit it.

Exception: MikuMikuDance images and figure photography. Photographs of figures must be taken by you, but obviously, you didn’t make the figures. The same rule holds for MikuMikuDance entries. You do not have to have made the model(s), stage(s), and effect(s) used, but you MUST credit the original creators.

  1. Art submitted must also follow the Piapro guidelines set for creators.

  2. For VOCALOIDs not included in the Piapro license:

– Do not submit art that you are selling.

Songs
  1. If a VSQ, VSQX, or UST made by someone else is used, the creator must be credited.

  2. Any artwork used must be created by you or used with permission from the artist. (Please don’t take random images and use them in videos without permission!)

MikuMikuDance (MMD) Images & Videos

  1. All MMD submissions must follow the guidelines set by each creator. If you use parts from a model that doesn’t allow editing or use a model in a way forbidden by the creator, we will not accept your work.

  2. ALL elements of the image or video must be credited. Song, motion data, stage, effect, and model creators all must be properly credited.

– Please do NOT credit with “I don’t know,” “I found it on Nico somewhere,” or anything else like that.
