November 5th marks MEIKO’s birthday and, just like with all of their other VOCALOIDs, Crypton is celebrating. Most notably for fans who have been waiting for almost a year, the much anticipated MEIKO figma is finally fully painted! She was first announced in February of 2016 at Winter Wonfes and had an unpainted prototype at Summer Wonfes. Now she’s painted and ready to go!
According the Piapro blog post, the figma has a Spring 2017 release date and pre-orders are going to open soon.
The price is to be announced, however, that should be coming soon.
At the moment, there’s only one picture of the MEIKO figma available. Once pre-orders open, there will be more pictures as well as a price and an exact month for expected release (there’s always the chance of a delay).
When Good Smile Company opens the pre-orders, we’ll be sure to let everyone know. Until then, keep an eye out for any more updates!
Other Celebrations
There are a few more events going on to celebrate MEIKO’s birthday as well. Did you know this is her 12th anniversary? She’s been around for quite some time!
