Hatsune Miku x Kyoto Nippon Festival Illustration Contest Announced on Pixiv!

It is time for all the artists to artist once more and lend their talent to Hatsune Miku, as Crypton Future Media announced a new illustration contest via Pixiv, seeking for some amazing artworks to show off during this year’s Kyoto Nippon Festival!

An Hatsune Miku Attraction, Filled with Artworks!

The Kyoto Nippon Festival will be held at Kitano Tenmangu‘s shrine, located in Kyoto, starting October 25th until December 8th. Many are the attractions that you will be able to see during the event, and one of them will feature 36 different illustration of Hatsune Miku with the city itself as theme! Those artworks will get chosen via a contest on Pixiv, which begun just few hours ago!

This contest was introduced this morning trough Hatsune Miku’s official Twitter account, which briefly explained its purpose showing us the amazing main visual Rella drawn for it! Isn’t it absolutely amazing? It surely gets all of our inspiration up for this contest!

About the Contest

The competition is open already and entries will be accepted until September 23th. Your illustration must feature Hatsune Miku and follow the city of Kyoto as theme.

  • Format: PNG, JPG or GIF
  • Size: Must not exceed 32 MB
  • You cannot upload more than 200 entries at a time so please be considerate!

The prize, alongside of seeing your own artwork exhibited during the festival, is of 30,000 JPY for each winner!
