On April 1st, the Magical Mirai official Twitter account revealed the accomodation options planned for the MAGICAL MIRAI 2020 Osaka event were cancelled for those outside of Japan due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

Read the official statement below:
“The World Health Organization (WHO) has formally declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a pandemic. We had been preparing infectious disease control for those who applied for the MAGICAL MIRAI 2020 in Osaka Accommodation Plan, but in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 we came to a decision to close applications for those located overseas.
Therefore, we will be only accepting applications from those who live in Japan. Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation.”
