Napoli-tan’s Voice Actress and Official Song Revealed!

Napoli-tan’s promotional campaign has come to an end, and throughout Niconico Chokaigi 2017, fans who visited the Cho Napoli-tan Stadium booth got to learn a whole lot more about her!

Voice Actress and Winning Song

First up, it was confirmed that Napoli-tan will be voiced and portrayed by famous voice actress, Haruka Yoshimura! Yoshimura is most well known for her roles as Yui Nanase from Go! Princess Pretty Cure and Mika Jougasaki from THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, among many others.

On Sunday, April 30th at 3:00 PM (JST) at the Cho Napoli-tan Stadium booth, Yoshimura took to the stage to announce “N” by KurageP! The song racked up the highest view count among the three songs composed for Napoli-tan’s promotional campaign, and is now her official theme song! Congratulations to KurageP and all participating VOCALOID producers!

Booth Details

Open:
Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM (JST)
Sunday, April 30th from 10:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM (JST)

Visitors to the booth were greeted by a life-sized cut-out of Napoli-tan, whom they could later take pictures with!

But perhaps an even more true-to-life version of Napoli-tan who appeared at the booth was none other than Moa Tsukino of Kamen Joshi fame! She appeared in a fantastic Napoli-tan cosplay and performed a bass guitar arrangement of “N” to an excited crowd! Anyone who wanted to could take pictures with her as well!

“Thank you, Niconico Chokaigi! ☺️✨ I had a blast cosplaying, performing, and becoming Napoli-tan for everyone! ?✨ Thank you everyone who came to support us! Let’s all enjoy napolitan ever more! ?

Other special guests included:

Guitarist, S!N

Dancer, Kamen Liar 217

Hosts, BAN BAN BAN

Guitarist, Shota Sakai

And guitarist / cosplayer, Ryou Yamabuki!

Of course, what would a napolitan booth be without food? On each day, Kagome Co. was selling 500 plates of their special ketchup napolitan dishes for ¥800 JPY (about $8 USD) per serving!

“Officially Napoli-tan-trademarked napolitan. Just add Kagome ketchup straight to the dish for an amazing homemade taste. I’m surprised they haven’t thought of doing this before…”

The hosts, BAN BAN BAN, even got to try them out and give the audience their feedback. Who knew that DBZ characters like napolitan?

Well done, Kagome Co., for introducing your new baby to the world! We look forward to seeing more of her, and any further VOCALOID-related promotions! Good luck with Napolitan Stadium 2017!
