A special event is currently ongoing at Animate’s Online Shop to celebrate Hatsune Miku’s 9th anniversary: “Hatsune Miku’s Fairy 9th Anniversary ~Miku Saga~”!
Starting from August 9th, the event will be available for a month until September 11th, bringing new goodies and much more to fans!
Said event will also be part of a collaboration with Crypton’s popular mobile RPG, Hatsune Miku: Graphy Collection Mystery Music Comet, available on both Android and iOS devices.
Regarding Animate
Animate is a chain of stores selling mostly products related to “otaku” culture and music. Animate also has had an online store since 1997, and it specializes in selling manga, books, CDs, DVDs, video games, and other related merchandise. They also produce exclusive merchandise for Japan, China, and Thailand. The shops allows various purchasing methods, including ticket purchasing, and hosts many theme events like this one.
Regarding the Event – Fair –
During the events, if you decide to purchase anything related to Hatsune Miku or the other Crypton VOCALOIDs, or if you purchase any PC software from the store, you can obtain one of these six collectible trading cards, each of them showing a Crypton VOCALOID for every ¥1,000 JPY you spend. The card will be randomly assigned while supplies last, but they all look so beautiful that you won’t need to choose a particular one!
However, it looks like all of the products aren’t available for customers living outside of Japan, so if you want to buy something and grab one of these trading cards, you will need an agent. We don’t know if these will be available worldwide in the future, but we will keep you updated in the case that it happens!
Goods
The goods provided by the store vary from badges to mini-towels depicting the Crypton VOCALOIDs in different versions. There are so many you can choose from that it won’t be difficult for you to find something to add to your collection. For instance, you can find straps, fabric posters, and clear files featuring the event illustrations. All of these are available for purchase on August 18th. The prices start from ¥500 JPY and shipping taxes are, of course, excluded. As we have already said, none of these are currently available overseas.
