VOLKS USA at Anime Expo with Dollfie Honey Miku!

VOLKS USA will be out of the office this weekend but for a very good reason! They’re attending Anime Expo in California! While we can’t guarantee the merchandise that they’ll have at the con, online sales of a TON of VOCALOID Dollfie Dream items and the dolls themselves will start July 1st. They’ll last until July 10th or when the online store runs out. You can find more information on all the items for sale here. But the highlight of VOLKS USA at Anime Expo is definitely going to be the Dollfie Honey Miku performing! You can find VOLKS USA at Booth #600.

Dollfie® Honey x “Hatsune Miku”

VOLKS, Inc. collaborated with Speecys Corp., the developers of the “AIBO” (Artificial Intelligence Robot), to create a new innovative and entertaining way to enjoy Dollfie®. This technology, called the “Dollfie® Honey”, is a self-moving doll with a body height of 60 cm. In addition, it has the freedom of about 28 degrees of movement. Its appearance is easily customized due to its soft outer skin and compatibility with Dollfie Dream® heads and costumes.

The Dollfie® Honey is equipped with a RaspberryPi 3 CPU board powered by Linux. The “Dollfie® Honey” will utilizes the VOLKS’ Dollfie Dream® exterior and will be able to connect via WiFi and other options. Best of all, the doll’s movements are programmable via MikuMikuDance!

While first shown at Magical Mirai 2016, this will be her western debut!
